GENEVA, September 25. /TASS/. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi called his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly’s high-level week important and timely.

"Important and timely meeting with Sergey Lavrov on the current work of the IAEA and the role of international institutions and multilateralism amidst global challenges," he wrote on X.

Grossi gave no further details of the talks.
