BEIJING, September 25. /TASS/. Chinese President Xi Jinping said he had held a frank and comprehensive exchange of opinions with his US counterpart Donald Trump.

"Today, President Trump and I had a sincere and in-depth exchange of views," the Chinese leader said during a state dinner at the White House.

He went on to say that their talks have given new meaning to the relations of strategic stability between the two nations.

"This [the meeting] infused new substance into the constructive China-US relations, based on strategic stability, and defined the new strategic guidelines for the China-US ties," Xi Jinping added.
