WASHINGTON, September 24. /TASS/. China will send two giant pandas to the United States as a symbol of friendship between the two countries, Chinese President Xi Jinping said.

"The panda is a symbol of friendship between the Chinese and American peoples, and I have some good news. In a few days, two pandas, Ping Ping and Fu Shuang, will arrive at their new home at Zoo Atlanta and meet the American people," Xi said at the White House ahead of talks with US President Donald Trump.
