LONDON, September 24. /TASS/. Russia has transformed its drone arsenal with a jet-powered revolution, The Guardian reported.

According to the publication, "since May there has been a notable set of upgrades, allowing Russian forces to strike Ukraine more effectively with fast, jet-engined drones."

The Guardian also noted that the new models of Russian Geran drones are faster than the Ukrainian interceptors.

Earlier, the Financial Times and Reuters reported that the new drones reach high speeds and fly at high altitudes, blurring the line between drones and cruise missiles.
