UN, September 22. /TASS/. The United States will be able to supply its allies with armaments, including missile weapons, more promptly in the nearest future, President Donald Trump said on Tuesday.

"In the very near future, massive munition plants will be opening. There are 18 of them being built by the greatest defense companies in the world right now," President Trump stated at the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA).

"Some of them very quickly will be completed. They're almost there, and that rapid construction will be leading to very rapid deployment of missiles of every type and ammunition of every type, and we'll be able to supply our allies at a much faster rate than we're doing right now," he noted.

The headquarters of the global organization in New York City is hosting the General Debate of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) with the participation of heads of state and government, as well as foreign ministers, on September 22-26 and September 28. The Russian delegation will be led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
