UN, September 21. /TASS/. Over 70 world leaders and 45 heads of government are expected to attend the General Debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly this week, UN chief’s spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said on Monday.

According to Dujarric, 71 presidents, 45 heads of government, 50 ministers, 11 vice-presidents and a crown prince, whom the spokesperson did not name, should attend the General Debate.

The UN chief’s spokesperson added that over 1,500 requests had been submitted by various countries to book conference rooms for bilateral negotiations.

The headquarters of the global organization in New York City will host the General Debate of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) with the participation of heads of state and government, as well as foreign ministers, on September 22-26 and September 28. The Russian delegation will be led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
