WASHINGTON, September 21. /TASS/. The United States intends to continue its efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, considering it to be only a matter of time before it is overcome, Vice President JD Vance.

"We're going to keep on trying to solve it. Do I think it'll get solved eventually? Yes. It's just a question of time," he told reporters at the Andrews military base near Washington before departing for a working trip to North Carolina.

Vance confirmed that US President Donald Trump plans to meet with Vladimir Zelensky later this week.

"I believe he's meeting with President Zelensky either tomorrow or the day after. So I'm sure there's going to be some good progress made," he said.

On Tuesday, Trump plans to be in New York to attend the current session of the UN General Assembly. He is expected to be in Washington on Wednesday.
