EU continues to ignore Ukraine’s attacks on nuclear power plants — Finnish politician
Armando Mema added that the EU remains one of the main suppliers of weapons for Kiev
STOCKHOLM, September 20. /TASS/. The European Union (EU) continues to turn a blind eye to Ukraine’s attacks on nuclear power plants, said Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish national-conservative party Freedom Alliance.
"The EU continues to close its eyes while Ukraine attacks Nuclear Power plants endangering all of Europe," he wrote on the X social network, commenting on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)’s report about a Ukrainian drone attack on the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) on September 17.
The politician added that the EU remains one of the main suppliers of weapons for Kiev.
"The foolish part is that we are main providers of these weapons," he wrote.
Russia’s Permanent Representative to international organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov said earlier that EU countries de-facto encourage Kiev to continue attacks on nuclear facilities by turning a blind eye to such incidents.
