Russia-India business cooperation has grown significantly — foreign minister

Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar is on an official visit to Russia on August 23-24 at the invitation of Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov

MOSCOW, August 24. /TASS/. Economic cooperation between Russia and India has grown significantly, Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin.

"We had a meeting of the intergovernmental commission this morning. I have a very good report that I could share with you regarding our economic cooperation, nuclear energy, fertilizers, and so on. I will discuss this in detail. I would like to note that our economic cooperation has grown significantly."

Jaishankar is on an official visit to Russia on August 23-24 at the invitation of Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. Earlier on Monday, he took part as co-chair in the 27th meeting of the Russian-Indian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation.
