Ghana’s foreign minister says 62 citizens died in Ukraine war, 15 missing

According to Okudzeto Ablakwa, he discussed with the Russian foreign minister stopping illegal recruitment of Ghanaians for the special military operation

MOSCOW, August 17. /TASS/. Ghana’s Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said that 62 of the republic's citizens have died in Russia's special military operation, and another 15 are listed as missing.

"62 Ghanaians died, and 15 are currently listed as missing," he said at a press conference after talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

According to the minister, he also discussed with Lavrov stopping illegal recruitment of Ghanaians for the special military operation.
