Earlier, an air raid alert was issued for four municipalities in eastern Latvia
VILNIUS, August 14. /TASS/. A drone has been shot down in Latvia's airspace, the Baltic country's armed forces said in a statement on X.
"A threat has been eliminated in the country's airspace. Allied fighter aircraft successfully shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle that entered our airspace," the statement reads.
Earlier, an air raid alert was issued for four municipalities in eastern Latvia and remained in effect for about 30 minutes.
