DOHA, August 14. /TASS/. Two ships operated by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) came under attack in the Strait of Hormuz, with no casualties reported, the Emirati news agency WAM quoted the company as saying.

"On the evening of August 13, two of the company's ships were attacked while transiting the Strait of Hormuz. No one was injured in the incident, and the situation is under control," ADNOC said.

The UAE Foreign Ministry blamed the attack on Iran. Abu Dhabi called on Tehran to stop aggressive actions and to "fully and unconditionally reopen the strait."

An ADNOC vessel came under attack in the Strait of Hormuz on August 8. The company said there were no casualties. Earlier, ADNOC said that 15 of its ships had been attacked by missiles and drones in the Strait of Hormuz since the start of the conflict, killing one crew member and injuring 20 others.
