Mojtaba Khamenei in good health, although video with him is old — Iranian source
He avoids appearing in public due to security considerations, an Iranian source told
NEW DELHI, August 9. /TASS/. A video of Mojtaba Khamenei that was earlier released by the mass media had been shot before he became Iran’s Supreme leader, but he is now in good health and avoids appearing in public due to security considerations, an Iranian source told TASS.
"This is an old video. It was made before he became [Supreme] leader," he said, adding that his health condition is now quite good. "He is in good health and the only reason why he is not seen in public is security reasons," he stressed.
Earlier, the Iranian Mehr agency released a video featuring Mojtaba Khamenei talking to a group of people who are listening to him attentively. Neither the date nor the venue of the event were indicated.
Mojtaba Khamenei became Iran’s Supreme leader after his father, Ali Khamenei, was killed in a missile attack after the United States and Israel’s aggression against Iran.
