NEW YORK, August 8. /TASS/. The number of commercial ships, redirected by the US military since the US resumed its blockade against Iranian ports and coastal areas on July 14, has reached 51, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said.
"As of Aug. 7, CENTCOM forces have redirected 51 commercial vessels, disabled 2, and boarded 2 to ensure compliance," CENTCOM said on the X social network.
The previous bulletin, published on Thursday, said 49 vessels had been redirected.
