According to sources cited by The Wall Street Journal, media leaks have been troubling the US president for several weeks now

NEW YORK, August 7. /TASS/. Media reports containing negative information about the depletion of US ammunition stocks due to military operations against Iran are driving US President Donald Trump "crazy," The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources.

According to the newspaper, media leaks have been troubling Trump for several weeks now, and the negative headlines are "driving him crazy." The president believes that reports about ammunition shortages could embolden Tehran and weaken Washington’s position. His dissatisfaction with the war's progress is growing as he sees few effective ways to force Iran to abandon its nuclear program and end the hostilities, the newspaper’s sources said.

Trump has ordered a new internal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the leaks, the newspaper added. "Anyone entrusted with access to classified military information who leaks it to the media is betraying that trust and breaking federal law, and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. President Trump is committed to enforcing that law without exception," White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told The Wall Street Journal.
