SEOUL, August 6. /TASS/. The ballistic missile launched by North Korea on Thursday was presumably a short-range missile, the Yonhap news agency reported, citing South Korea’s military.
The launch took place from an area near the city of Wonsan.
North Korea last launched a ballistic missile on June 25, the anniversary of the start of the Korean War (1950-1953). Then, in the presence of the country's leader, Kim Jong Un, tactical ballistic missiles and new multiple launch rocket systems were tested.
