CAIRO, July 29. /TASS/. The number of fighters from the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) killed in Saudi and US strikes on Iraq has climbed to 20, the Iranian-backed paramilitary group said in a statement.

According to the statement released on the PMF’s page on Facebook (banned in Russia; owned by Meta, which is designated as an extremist organization in Russia), another at least 32 PMF supporters suffered injuries as several of the group’s headquarters across Iraq, including in Baghdad, came under attack.

Shafaq News has put the death toll at 10, with three injured.

Saudi Arabia Defense Ministry spokesman Turki al-Maliki earlier said that the kingdom’s army, in coordination with US Central Command, delivered "pin-point strikes" on targets in Iraq. According to the Saudis, the targeted facilities were affiliated with formations, operating in Iraq, involved in attacks on oil facilities in the kingdom.
