US President Donald Trump and Vladimir Zelensky held a "very practical" meeting during which, among other things, a possible trip to Kiev by the American leader's special envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner was discussed, Newsmax journalist Nana Sajaya reported.

"A source involved in Trump-Zelensky Oval Office meeting today tells me 'It was a very practical' meeting. Topics discussed solutions to bring the war to an end, renewed commitment of licensing as a long-term goal, having Witkoff, Kushner come to Kiev to 'build the new momentum for diplomatic efforts,'" Sajaya wrote on her page on the social network X.
