DOHA, July 28. /TASS/. The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has announced the integration of the world’s first artificial intelligence (AI) platform designed to assist in making judicial and legal decisions, the WAM news agency reported.
The operation of the system will be monitored by a human, according to the report. Its implementation is expected to enhance procedural efficiency and accuracy in court cases. The system is set to launch initially in September followed by a phased rollout within 18 months.
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, noted that the launch of such a platform demonstrates that "innovation is the path to more efficient and rapid justice.".
