LONDON, July 14. /TASS/. A tanker was struck by a projectile 40 nautical miles northeast of the coast of Oman, with the crew unharmed, the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported.

"UKMTO has received a report of an incident 40NM northeast of Qalhat, Oman. The Master of a Tanker reports being hit by an unknown projectile on the starboard side engine room. All crew are safe and accounted for with no environmental impact reported," according to the statement.
