Israel attacks over 70 Hezbollah facilities in Lebanon during day
The Israel Defense Forces struck approximately 10 command centers, weapons storage facilities, and additional infrastructure sites used by Hezbollah to advance attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians
TEL AVIV, May 25. /TASS/. The Israeli military attacked more than 70 Hezbollah infrastructure facilities in Lebanon during the day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.
"Throughout the day, in order to remove threats, the IDF struck more than 70 Hezbollah infrastructure sites using approximately 85 munitions in several areas across Lebanon," it said. "In the area of Tyre, the IDF struck approximately 10 command centers, weapons storage facilities, and additional infrastructure sites used by Hezbollah to advance attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said earlier in the day that Israel would intensify strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon to retaliate its drone attacks on Israeli troops operating in southern Lebanon and Israeli border settlements.
