MINSK, May 24. /TASS/. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, BelTA news agency reported on Sunday.

BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader that: "The telephone call took place today at the initiative of the French side."

According to the agency, the heads of state "discussed regional issues and relations between Belarus and the EU, and France in particular.".
