BRATISLAVA, May 23. /TASS/. Difficult economic times are looming for Slovakia due to the EU’s misguided actions, Slovak National Council Deputy Speaker Tibor Gaspar stated.
"Slovakia is heading toward its worst economic times due to the EU’s conduct [in the economic sphere]," the Dennik N news outlet quoted the senior lawmaker as saying.
"Europe’s competitiveness is declining. Electricity is one and a half times more expensive here, and gas is three times more expensive than in the US," Gaspar emphasized.
