UNITED NATIONS, May 23. /TASS/. Beijing has expressed deep concern over reports of a drone strike on a college in Starobelsk, said China’s Permanent Representative to the UN Fu Cong.

"China has noted reports of a drone strike on a school in Starobelsk and expresses deep concern over the casualties, especially among students. China condemns any attacks targeting innocent civilians," he said.

"A protracted Ukrainian crisis, escalation of the situation on the battlefield, and enormous human suffering is something no side, including China, wants," the diplomat added.
