BUDAPEST, May 22. /TASS/. An explosion occurred on a pipeline at the MOL oil and gas company’s plant in the Hungarian city of Tiszaujvaros, but there is no evidence of hostile acts by external forces, Reuters reported, citing the company’s executive chairman Zsolt Hernadi.

According to him, the Olefin 1 plant, where the explosion occurred, was undergoing repairs and was effectively not in operation. Authorities will conduct an investigation to determine whether human error could have caused the incident, he added.
