BEIJING, May 22. /TASS/. Zhao Leji, chairman of China's National People's Congress Standing Committee, will pay visits to Russia and Kazakhstan on May 25-30, China’s Xinhua news agency reported.

The report says that the chairman’s "official goodwill visits to Kazakhstan and Russia" will be "at the invitation of Yerlan Koshanov, speaker of the Mazhilis, or the lower house of Kazakhstan's parliament, Russian Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko and chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin."

As part of his visit, China’s top legislator will attend the 11th meeting of the China-Russia committee for parliamentary cooperation.
