BEIRUT, May 21. /TASS/. Israeli attacks on southern and eastern regions of Lebanon resulted in 16 deaths and 35 injuries over the past 24 hours, the country’s Health Ministry reported.

"The total number of civilians killed since tensions escalated on March 2 has reached 3,089, with 9,397 injured," the ministry said in a report posted on its X page.

According to it, rescue teams are clearing debris in several settlements, and the number of casualties may increase.
