SEOUL, May 21. /TASS/. Chinese President Xi Jinping may soon visit North Korea, the Yonhap news agency reported, citing sources in the South Korean government.

"We have obtained intelligence indicating that President Xi Jinping will visit North Korea soon," one of the agency’s sources said. According to another official, the visit could take place in late May or early June.

The agency recalled that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited North Korea in April.
