UNITED NATIONS, May 17. /TASS/. Cuban Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ernesto Soberon Guzman has slammed allegations that Cuba poses a threat to the United States’ national security as untrue.

"Cuba is no threat to the United States’ national security. Anyone who claims otherwise is lying," he told TASS, commenting on Axios’ report on Havana’s alleged plans to use drones against US facilities.

The Axios portal said, earlier, citing classified intelligence data, that Cuba had allegedly purchased more than 300 combat drones and was looking at using them against the US base in Guantanamo, US warships and, probably, the city of Key West in Florida.
