"During this visit, President Xi Jinping and President Trump held an open, profound, constructive, and strategic exchange of opinions on the key issues of Chinese-American relations, as well as global peace and development," the Chinese foreign ministry quoted him as saying.
The sides discussed "opportunities for the right cooperation between the great powers" and reached a consensus, he said.
