BEIJING, My 15. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump has described his visit to China as "very successful," saying that the parties were able to resolve many issues.

Earlier, Chinese President Xi Jinping posted Trump at the Zhongnanhai state residence in Beijing, China Central Television reported.

Trump said he was grateful to Xi for inviting him to visit Zhongnanhai. According to the US leader, his visit was "very successful, world-renowned, and unforgettable", a Chinese readout said.

Trump specified that the parties had reached consensus on a number of issues, signed numerous agreements and settled multiple matters, which would benefit both countries and the entire world.

Trump also expressed confidence that US-China relations would continue to get better. He noted that he was willing to continue to maintain sincere and in-depth communication with Xi, and was looking forward to hosting him in Washington, D.C.
