Ukraine’s top diplomat discloses daily cost of hostilities for Kiev
According to Andrey Sibiga, this year may be "crucial for peace" in Ukraine
MOSCOW, May 13. /TASS/. One day of hostilities costs Ukraine approximately $450 million, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiga revealed at the PISM Strategic Ark Conference.
According to Ukraine’s top diplomat, this year may be "crucial for peace" in Ukraine, even as this would require US participation.
Earlier, Kirill Budanov, the head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office (listed in Russia as a terrorist and extremist – TASS), argued that Ukraine is no longer capable of producing tanks, missiles or any other weapons, as it fully relies on its Western partners for the production of drones, too.
Late last month, EU ambassadors greenlighted €90 billion in funding to Kiev and a 20th package of anti-Russian sanctions after lifting Hungary and Slovakia’s veto. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced at a European Parliament meeting in Strasbourg that the EU will disburse the first €6 billion tranche to Kiev for the production of drones.
