Slovakia will not resume electricity supplies to Ukraine — Fico

The Slovak prime minister does not see the reasons for resuming deliveries

BRATISLAVA, May 4. /TASS/. Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico said that he does not see sense in resuming emergency supplies of electric power to Ukraine.

"The Ukrainian side suspended gas transit and we lost 500 mln euro on gas transit. For the time being, I do not see the reasons to resume deliveries of such kind of electricity [to Ukraine]," Fico said.

The issue of supplies "was not discussed" during his meeting with Vladimir Zelensky, he added.
