BRUSSELS, April 23. /TASS/. Payments to Kiev from the 90 bln euro loan will begin in the second quarter of this year, the European Commission and the EU Council said after completing the funding approval procedure.

The first payments will be made by the end of the second quarter, Commissioner for Economy Valdis Dombrovskis said on X.

The EU Council also confirmed approval of funding for Kiev in its statement.
