TEHRAN, April 21. /TASS/. Around 138,000 civilian facilities in Iran have been damaged by US and Israeli military strikes since the start of the escalation, the Iranian TV channel SNN said.
According to the report, these include over 113,000 residential buildings, around 23,500 commercial properties, more than 300 medical facilities, 32 universities, and 993 other educational institutions.
The United States and Israel launched a large-scale operation against Iran on February 28. On April 7, the United States announced a two-week ceasefire with the republic. Iran and the United States held several rounds of talks in Islamabad on April 11. Both Tehran and Washington said after the negotiations that no agreement on a long-term settlement of the conflict had been reached due to a range of disagreements.
