According to Iran’s state broadcaster, media reports of the Iranian delegation's departure and arrival in Pakistan are untrue

TEHRAN, April 21. /TASS/. Members of the Iranian delegation to the Islamabad talks with the US have not yet departed for Pakistan, Iran’s state broadcaster reported.

According to the media outlet, both the main delegation and the supporting one have yet to depart for Pakistan, while media reports of the Iranian delegation's departure and arrival in Pakistan are untrue.

Earlier, CNN reported, citing sources, that the second round of US-Iran talks would take place on the morning of April 22. The US delegation will be led by Vice President JD Vance. A source told the Al Hadath TV channel that both the US and Iranian delegations would arrive in Islamabad on Tuesday. Al Jazeera, however, said that Iran’s "preliminary delegation" had already arrived in Pakistan.
