China attaches great importance to bilateral humanitarian exchanges with Russia and welcomes visa-free travel for Russian citizens, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Mao Ning said at a briefing, commenting on prospects for extending the visa-free regime between the two countries.

"China attaches great importance to humanitarian exchanges between China and Russia <...>. China invites more friends from Russia to make use of the visa-free regime," she noted.
