BEIRUT, April 4. /TASS/. At least 54 people were killed and another 156 were injured over the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli airstrikes on southern regions of Lebanon, the country’s Health Ministry said.

"The total number of civilians killed since the escalation of hostilities on March 2 has exceeded 1,422, with 4,294 wounded. Those killed in Israeli airstrikes include 1,203 men, 126 children, and 93 women," the ministry said in a report published on the social network X.
