TEL AVIV, April 3. /TASS/. An air raid alert was triggered in many areas of central Israel due to a missile threat, with sirens also sounding in the Tel Aviv area, a TASS correspondent reported.

Shortly before that, the Israeli military said it had detected a new missile attack directed at the country. According to the army, the missiles were launched from Iranian territory.

This is the second attack on central Israel since the start of the day. Earlier, the country’s most densely populated area came under fire at night, with an air raid siren sounding at 12:15 a.m. GMT.
