Iran offers reward for capture of US pilot whose plane was shot down

TEHRAN, April 3. /TASS/. State TV in Iran’s Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province announced that anyone who captures the pilot of a US F-35 fighter jet shot down earlier will receive a reward.
Earlier, the NourNews agency reported that the pilot had already been detained by members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, an elite unit of the Iranian military).
According to the Iranian military’s General Staff, a US F-35 fighter jet was shot down on Friday morning over central Iran.
