Iran destroys US bases in Middle East, says Houthi leader
Abdul Malik al-Houthi is convinced that the Iranian operations were accompanied by "heavy losses among officers and soldiers" of the armies of the United States and Israel
DUBAI, April 2. /TASS/. Iran's massive missile and drone strikes have destroyed American military bases in the Middle East and undermined Israel's military potential, said Houthi leader from the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah Abdul Malik al-Houthi.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran firmly and effectively opposes American and Israeli tyranny and aggression," the Houthi-owned Al Masirah TV channel quoted the radical leader as saying. "The American military bases in the region were destroyed by massive strikes, the Israeli enemy has sustained damage, and its military and industrial potential was undermined."
Al-Houthi is convinced that the Iranian operations were accompanied by "heavy losses among officers and soldiers" of the armies of the United States and Israel.
On March 28, exactly a month after the start of the Israeli and US military operation against Iran, the Yemeni rebels delivered the first strike against the Jewish state. According to the Houthis, they attacked military installations in southern Israel with ballistic missiles that day as a sign of solidarity with Iran and its allies in the region. Shortly before that, Israel said it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen.
