BEIRUT, April 2. /TASS/. At least seven people have been killed by Israeli air attacks on the settlements of Zibdine and Rmadyeh in southern Lebanon, a statement by the emergency headquarters obtained by TASS said.
"In the morning, Israeli planes fired rockets at a four-story building in Zibdine in the southern province of Nabatiye, killing three citizens," it says. "Four people were killed and three others were injured during an air raid on Rmadyeh in the border district of Tyre."
As part of the ongoing military escalation in the southern regions, airstrikes were carried out on Thursday on the cities of Borj Rahal, Dibbine, Kafra, Rachaya el-Foukhar, Harouf and Yater. There was no information about casualties.
In the morning, Israeli artillery shelled the villages of Arnoun, Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Al-Qlailah, Siddiqine and Al Mansuri. Civilians have mostly left these southern areas, as requested by Israel, which is conducting a military operation against Hezbollah.
According to the Health Ministry, the total number of citizens killed in one month of military operations in Lebanon now stands at 1,318, with 3,935 wounded.
