IDF eliminates 40 radicals, strikes dozens of Hezbollah sites in Lebanon over past day
The Israeli Navy conducted a precise strike targeting a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in southern Lebanon
TEL AVIV, April 2. /TASS/. The Israel Defense Forces said that, "in the past 24 hours," it had eliminated more than 40 armed radicals and carried out strikes on dozens of military facilities of the Shiite organization Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
"The IDF eliminated more than 40 Hezbollah terrorists and struck dozens of <…> headquarters, weapons storage facilities, launch sites, and anti-tank missile positions", the army press service said in a statement. "The Israeli Navy also conducted a precise strike targeting a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in southern Lebanon," the department added.
"The IDF continues targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon, combined with aerial, naval, and ground strikes targeting Hezbollah terror infrastructure," the statement said. In particular, "soldiers from the 146th Division dismantled over 180 terror infrastructure sites, including anti-tank launch positions, observation posts, underground hideouts, and weapons storage facilities," the press service specified.
