CAIRO, April 1. /TASS/. Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is in good health and can appear in public after some time, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said.

"As for his health, there has been much talk about it lately. But I assure you, he’s fine. I think it’s not surprising amid military operations that it may be a while before he makes a public appearance," Baghaei said in an interview with the Egyptian media outlet Al-Masry al-Youm.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson also stressed that no matter the circumstances, "the country is being run and defended in an extremely effective way."
