BEIRUT, March 20. /TASS/. Israeli fighter jets have entered Lebanon’s airspace and conducted low-altitude flights over Beirut, a source in the civil defense service told TASS.

"The jets broke the sound barrier over the city twice, producing loud sonic booms," the source said.

According to the source, the appearance of low-flying jets over the capital triggered panic among residents, who were celebrating the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr marking the end of Ramadan.
