LONDON, March 19. /TASS/. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) Centre said a fire broke out on board a ship off the coast of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which was hit by a projectile.

The incident occurred incident 11 nautical miles (20 km) east of Khawr Fakkan, UAE.

"It has been reported to UKMTO that a vessel has been hit by an unknown projectile which has resulted in a fire onboard," the organization said.
