BRUSSELS, March 12. /TASS/. The European Union has made a proposal to Ukraine on the inspection of the Druzhba oil pipeline condition, Spokesperson of the European Commission Anna-Kaisa Itkonen said.

"We have proposed a mission to inspect the pipeline to Ukraine," she said.

"We are in intense discussions and contact with Ukraine on this issue, as has been the case for a couple of weeks already, as well as with the member-states that are most concerned," the spokesperson added.
