NEW YORK, March 7. /TASS/. The United States have sunk or damaged 43 Iranian ships since the beginning of the military operation against the Islamic Republic, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported.

"Targets struck: over 3,000. Iranian ships damaged or destroyed: 43," the command said on X.

Earlier, CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper said the US had sunk more than 30 vessels of the Iranian Navy.
