NEW YORK, March 6. /TASS/. The United Arab Emirates is weighing the possibility of freezing Iranian assets on its territory, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) said.

According to the report, if the decision is made, the Islamic Republic’s access to foreign currency and international commercial networks will become noticeably restricted.

Sources told WSJ that UAE officials have already privately notified Iran about the possibility of taking such measures.
