"As CENTCOM pointed out that those reports of an F-15 being shot down are false," he told reporters in Florida.

Earlier, Iran’s state TV broadcaster said the Islamic Republic’s armed forces downed an F-15 fighter jet of the US Air Force in the skies over southern Iraq.
